The challenge:
Whitbread is the UK’s largest hotel and restaurant group managing the number one brands in hotels, restaurants and coffee shops, including Premier Inn, Beefeater and Costa. Its AGM aims to update shareholders on the company’s progress and gives attendees the opportunity to put questions to the Board.
Talisman’s approach:
We have produced and run Whitbread’s AGM since 1994 when its core business was selling beer and running pubs. As the mix of the business has shifted so too has the style of the AGM.
With the company’s focus on creating value for shareholders it’s important for the AGM to be professional and user-friendly, while not appearing extravagant. Sets are kept simple, with graphics to reflect the corporate brand identity and changing face of the business. The chairman and CEO’s speeches are visually supported by presentations including video and information on proxy voting.
