Helping Corus become world leaders in health and safety
The challenge:
Corus is Europe’s second largest steel producer and is striving to become a world leader in health and safety. For almost 18 months, Corus has been developing a Health and Safety Management System – and called Talisman in to help structure, design and handle the production of a manual for the system.
Talisman’s approach:
The project involved the creation of a folder to carry the pages, and then the creation of a template for the 52 text and picture pages. We had to source pictures for 15 different safety principles, create diagrams and then handle the translated material for French, German and Dutch manuals.
Nearly 3,000 were produced... and to publicise the major thrusts of the manual, Talisman produced 30,000 A1 and A3 posters, which can now be found in Corus locations across the world.
