Kriss Akabusi in a lather!

The challenge:
On behalf of water companies across the country, we were called upon to produce a “single voice” message to the general public urging them not to waste water.

Talisman’s approach:
In conjunction with Waterwise, we launched Shower Power – a public information campaign on behalf of 12 UK water companies – and commissioned former British Olympic and World champion relay runner Kriss Akabusi to spearhead the campaign.

In addition to press coverage, we worked with radio PR specialists Radio Relations and Independent News Media, to organise a series of live and pre-recorded interviews with radio stations across the UK, where Kriss unveiled the results of research we commissioned from ICM Research.



Coverage was obtained on 23 separate stations and amounted to a total of two hours, 23 minutes and 31 seconds of airtime, reaching a combined audience of 1,864,000.

Kriss also took centre stage in our “How long do you take?” video created in association with Seevu.
